Crochet A Waffle Friend! What?!

The other day I was working on a waffle stitch blanket and it made me wonder if anyone had used that stitch to make a waffle person. Immediately, I went off to search for a pattern to make my children and I couldn’t find one.

That is how Brekky the Waffle person came to be.

crochet, yarn, hook, needle, knit, amigurumi, waffle, egg, spatula, ladle, worsted weight, kid, children, free, pattern, safety, eyes, nose, toy, stuffed animal, stuffing, clover, G, baby, instruction, tutorial

After making his body, I realized it needed arms and legs but not just plain ones. It needed fun ones, so I made the utensils. When I was done, I showed my family and they asked why it was naked, so that inspired the egg shorts.

I used worsted weight yarn to make Brekky however you could easily use dk or a bulky yarn to make it bigger or smaller. I hope you enjoy making this pattern and will share it so I can see yours.
