Paw Patrol Inspired Play Mat Week 10

Welcome to week 10. You are almost done. This is the first week of the roads. You will be making small sections of the road to go between your blocks. This is usually the most challenging part for me. As soon as I get the yellow lines started, my boys come along and start driving on it before I can finish. Every time I put the roads down, completed or not, I come back to find my boys playing with them. Although it can be difficult to finish, it is nice to see how excited they are to play with it. For the last three weeks, you will need grey and yellow. I recommend having at least three skeins so you have enough to make all the roads. You will need to make 6 of this section of the road.

After you make your roads, it will be time to start sewing them to the blocks. You will use mattress stitch to attach the roads to the blocks. At the end, you will have three strips with a block, a road, a block, a road, and another block. It doesn’t matter which block you put together. You can order them how you want. When you line up your blocks and roads all the stitches should be facing the same direction. Enjoy this part because you are almost done.
