Lombardi Trophy Pillow

Everyone in my family are huge football fans. Sunday’s, Thursday’s, and Monday’s are fun days in my house. There’s nothing like relaxing while eating some good wings and watching my little boys try to reenact the plays. That is why I had to make them a Lombardi Trophy Pillow.

Fasten off leaving a tail enough to sew the side pieces on the sides.

Line the bottom of each side of the triangle up with the bottom of the sides. Look at the pictures of above for reference. Sew around triangle attaching the bottoms of the sides. Sew each side together. On the last side stop about ⅔ thirds of the way down. Start stuffing and then finish sewing the final side. The top should still be open. Line the top up with the bottom of the football. Attach it starting on the 5th row from the point and end on 9th row. The football should be angled up with the lace on the top when it is done.
